Alcohol and Pregnancy

Research clearly shows that drinking alcohol in pregnancy can cause lifelong harm to the unborn baby. Researchers have not found a safe amount of alcohol to drink when pregnant. In other words, no one knows for sure if it is safe for your developing baby to be exposed to any amount of alcohol.

Researchers and medical doctors recommend not drinking alcohol as the safest choice for a woman who is or might become pregnant. This is best for her health and her baby’s health.

What damage can alcohol do? Please remove picture of child with FASD and replace with picture of a child. (Picture can look sad or frustrated or anything, but I want to get away from society’s fixation on the ‘face’ of FASD.)
