With summer coming to an end, the back to school season is an exciting time for children, educators, parents, and caregivers alike. This time of year brings a change in routines, more motorists on the roads, and children expanding their skills and desire for independence. This webinar will provide educators and caregivers with practical tips to keep children safe from serious injuries on playgrounds and when crossing the street. Additionally, it will outline important aspects of child development and how their abilities to remain safe in these environments change as they grow. Two newly revised fact sheets will be featured during the presentation: 4-800 Playground Safety and 4-021 Child Pedestrian Safety.
