Child-Parent-Professionals Partnership in Early Intervention Programs within a Transcultural Context

March 23, 2022 @ 10:00 am. - 11:00 am.

As early intervention programs for children with neurodevelopmental disorders rely on parental engagement, their success depends on the child-parent-professional relationship. In this webinar, Berna will present a guiding conceptual framework that may support professionals to re-evaluate their perceptions of parental engagement and involvement. Registrants will learn about adapting practices that are sensitive to diversity and the complex realities of immigrant families of neurodiverse children – more specifically those with autism spectrum disorder or intellectual disability.
