Connection Builds Resilience: Trauma-Informed Care for Young Children

January 30, 2024 @ 1:30 pm. - 3:00 pm.

In the words of Gabor Maté, a renowned expert on trauma: “Safety is not the absence of threat, it is the presence of connection.” Children will always go through hard things that we will not be able to control or prevent. However, what can help children survive and even thrive through hardships is healthy connections with adults. This 90-minute webinar will provide both a theoretical background and practical applications of trauma-informed care for young children (under the age of 5).
