Supporting Parents Webinar Series: Talking With Your Kids About Sexual Health: It’s Easier Than You Think!

February 24, 2026 @ 10:30 am. - 11:30 am.

The Supporting Parents Webinar Series focuses on topics to help parents and caregivers learn how to create environments that help children thrive. These webinars can be used as part of parenting groups or can be used by parents and caregivers independently. Interactive activities are used to share strategies and tips to enhance the capacity to raise healthy, safe, and happy children. A recording of the webinar content will be available after the event.

Sexual health education begins much earlier than many parents realize. For young children, it includes learning the correct names for body parts, and developing the confidence to ask questions and express boundaries. Starting these conversations early helps build a strong foundation for safety, communication, and healthy development as children grow.

This interactive webinar is designed for parents and caregivers of children who want to feel more confident having age-appropriate conversations about sexual health. Grounded in evidence-based research, the session explores why early education matters, how it supports children’s well-being, and ways to use everyday moments to initiate conversations. The meeting-style format includes guided discussion and voluntary participation in a respectful, confidential space. Participants will leave with realistic strategies, reassurance, and resources.
