Have you ever been bullied? Have you ever been a bully? We see articles and posts in the news and social media about bullying all the time. Being bullied can affect a person mentally, physically, and emotionally. It can damage feelings of well-being, self-confidence, and sense of belonging.

The definition of bullying is one person or group repetitively being cruel (physically, mentally or emotionally) to another person or group. Bullying is done on purpose. It is meant to hurt, frighten, humiliate, exclude, embarrass, shame, or insult the person being bullied. Bullying often occurs between people close in age. It can be happen online (cyberbullying) or in person.

Bullying is never okay. If you are being bullied, you are not alone. It is not your fault.

If you feel as though you are being bullied, it is important to reach out to talk to an adult you trust for help.
