Soumya Mishra

Soumya is new to the Saskatchewan Prevention Institute in the role of an FASD Prevention Program Coordinator. She is equipped with sound public health background and diverse work experience through various projects and non-profit organizations. Previously, she worked collaboratively with SHA and PHR to develop an operational plan for the Supervised Consumption Site in Saskatoon, SK. She brings a great passion for educating people, while enabling them to take control over their health and quality of life. Her role includes: promoting FASD awareness across Saskatchewan by providing evidence-based information, partnering and collaborating with stakeholders, communities across SK, as well as organizing and coordinating professional training on Motivational Interviewing.
