Rashmi Tandukar Bhaukaji

Rashmi joined the Saskatchewan Prevention Institute as a Perinatal and Infant Health Program Coordinator in 2022. She has had many years of experience working in community health as a registered nurse (RN) in the United States and in Canada. . Rashmi’s training and volunteer work as a doula added to her knowledge base for this position. With her passion for primary and secondary prevention programs that promote best evidence and practices, focus on prevention and equity, knowledge of the impact of colonization and the importance of reconciliation, and as a mother of a 4-year-old, Rashmi is excited to work with the institute to reduce infant disease, disability, and death, as well as to ensure healthy outcomes for pregnant and birthing people.
