HIV Prevention: Mobilizing HIV PrEP and PEP in Community

May 20, 2026 @ 11:00 am. - 12:30 pm.

This session is designed for service providers working with people at risk of HIV. Service providers play a critical role in helping people at risk of HIV understand, access, and use PrEP and PEP effectively. Participants will learn what PrEP and PEP are, the types available, who they are for, their efficacy and safety, and why they matter for people at greater risk for HIV.

Join us for an interactive discussion on effective ways to address gaps in PrEP and PEP access in Saskatchewan. This session will be led by health educators from CATIE, featuring guest speakers Amanda Galambos (STEPS Program Coordinator) and Courtney Dalton (SK STBBI Consultant Pharmacist). Their local expertise will help ground the content in the Saskatchewan context.
