Dr. Huma Aftab is a Consultation-Liaison Psychiatrist, Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Saskatchewan. She also serves as the Division Head of Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry and is actively involved in the Maternal Mental Health Program with the Saskatchewan Health Authority. She completed her medical education at the Khyber Medical University, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan and did her Psychiatry Post Graduate Residency at the University of Saskatchewan. Her clinical and academic interests include collaborative care and system-level improvement. In the past, she has served as Chair of the Physician Health Program at SMA and has recently assumed a leadership role as Deputy Registrar with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan (CPSS).
