Anchoring Hope – Why Connections Matter – Saskatoon

November 17, 2026 @ 9:00 am. - 4:00 pm.

Back for a second year, Anchoring Hope brings together adult allies who have youth in their lives and want to make a meaningful difference in their homes, schools, workplaces, and communities.
The relationships we build with young people matter. Strong relationships help youth feel seen, heard, understood, and supported. Having even one trusted adult can make a lasting difference.
Anchoring Hope is a day to reflect, learn, grow, and connect, exploring how we can strengthen our relationships with youth, create space for honest conversations, and remind young people and ourselves that we don’t have to face life’s challenges alone.

It’s also a day to celebrate you, the adult ally, and the important role you play in the lives of young people.
Join us for a day of reflection, learning, personal growth, and professional development, while connecting with others who are committed to creating stronger, more supportive communities for youth.

Keynote speaker Allan Kehler, will join us as our keynote speaker presenting, Find Your Voice – Reclaim Your Power: In this powerful and deeply personal session, Allan challenges the cultural myths surrounding mental health, resilience, and emotional expression. Drawing from his own lived experience with mental illness, addiction, and suicide, Allan shares an unfiltered look at what it means to live behind a mask, and what it takes to finally remove it. Allan will encourage individuals to recognize their own vulnerability, speak openly, and take ownership of their well-being. Youth are always watching, and how we handle our own struggles can shape who they learn and handle theirs.
