    Christine Sexauer
    About:

Christine Sexauer is an engaging, animated, and passionate educator with a deep appreciation for the transformative power of childbirth, both on the individual and societal level. She recognizes birth is wildly, beautifully unpredictable, and believes education is essential to keeping the experience positive and enriching. She has had the opportunity to engage, empower, and educate families directly as a prenatal instructor for over 8 years. She provides unbiased, evidence-based information to help parents navigate birth with confidence, empowering them to trust their bodies and make informed decisions. She believes everyone deserves to share their birth stories with pride.

Christine is the Perinatal Program Coordinator at Douglas College, overseeing prenatal and newborn care classes for families, perinatal and lactation career courses such as the Childbirth Educator Program and Doula Training Program, and trains new childbirth educators through the Teaching Skills Workshop.

She is a proud mother of 3. Her own birth experiences and parenting journey influence her approach to education, advocacy, and support for expecting and new parents. When she’s not driving her kids to all of their activities, she enjoys an active lifestyle, appreciates family movie nights with a cat on her lap, and is always planning the next getaway with her husband.
