This webinar for healthcare providers will provide an overview and information on contraceptive options in a Saskatchewan-specific context. Attendees will learn about the following topics:

  • Hormonal and non-hormonal contraceptive options, including the newly available hormonal contraceptive implant and its insertion process
  • Birth control options during breastfeeding (including a review of lactation amenorrhea)
  • Qualifiers for permanent contraception
  • Emergency Assistance for Prescription Drugs in Saskatchewan
