November 24, 2020 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Is this training for you?

Have you ever felt frustrated when clients or patients seem stuck in unhealthy or destructive behaviours? Have you wondered how you could help them make that change?

This interactive online training will assist you to effectively support your clients to find their own motivation to make changes that improve their health and well-being. We will cover the basics of Motivational Interviewing (MI) and provide opportunities for you to practice MI communication skills and build your confidence.

The training includes brief assignments between sessions to help you master MI skills and see how they fit into your work with clients. Certificates will be provided to participants who complete all training components. Sessions will be recorded and you may, if necessary, miss one live session and watch the recording.

You will receive a confirmation email once you are registered and payment is received. A link to the online platform will be sent to participants a few days before the course begins.
