My Curious Brain Workshop

October 27, 2026 @ 9:00 am. - 4:00 pm.

This workshop will offer an introduction to the My Curious Brain book, virtual Resource Room, User Guide, and newly developed Certificate Program. Strategies and tips on how to use these tools to support children and the adults in their lives will be shared throughout the workshop.

The My Curious Brain book sparks children’s curiosity about how the brain works and provides children and adults with information and activities to support mental health and stress awareness. The My Curious Brain resources make learning about stress and its impacts interesting and fun. As children, parents, caregivers, teachers, and program facilitators become familiar with My Curious Brain, they learn a common, respectful, and fun language for talking about what is happening in our brains, bodies, and behaviours when we experience stress.

Participants will be required to complete the My Curious Brain Certificate Program as a prerequisite to attend the Workshop. The Program is offered as a free, self-paced online course (approximately 4 hours). Access to the Program will be provided upon paid registration for the Workshop.
