Taking Action to Keep Children Safe

March 14, 2018 @ 1:00 pm. - 2:00 pm.

To be effective at injury prevention, we need to recognize that the majority of injuries are predictable and preventable. Injuries remain the leading cause of death and hospitalization for children under 20 in Canada. Saskatchewan has a particularly high rate of child injury. Taking action is important for the health and well-being of children.

This webinar provided information on:

  • The essential elements of the child injury prevention programming and action guide
  • Practical ways you can address child injury prevention in your programming
  • How to choose an injury issue and take action

Download Resource 4-008 Child Injury Prevention Programming and Action Guide to supplement the webinar.
