Lee Hinton has been the Program Manager at the Saskatchewan Prevention Institute since 2007 and is a Fellow with ZERO to THREE Inc. Lee has developed expertise in the development and implementation of primary prevention approaches that increase the probability that Saskatchewan children are given opportunities to develop a strong foundation for later health and development. To this end, Lee works extensively with communities throughout Saskatchewan and participates on national and provincial projects and advisory committees to develop a common knowledge-base and increase agreement regarding the importance of the early years. Lee developed and leads the Early Childhood Mental Health Program and Early Childhood Team at the Saskatchewan Prevention Institute, which focuses on bringing emerging, evidence-based information and training to professionals throughout the province.
